Ghost Tours at The Stanley Hotel!

The 138 room Stanley Hotel was built in 1909 by Freelan O Stanley. Stanley was the inventor of the Stanley Steamer. The hotel is most famous for being Stephen King’s inspiration for the movie ‘The Shinning’.

The famous hotel also gives weekly ghost tours! The tour includes the history of the hotel, ghost stories, tours of the underground tunnels, visits to the hotel’s most famous haunted rooms, and even a trip to room #217 where Stephen King stayed. The tour is only $10 per person and it is recommend to book the tour a week or two in advance. Children under five are not allowed.

    Where is this hotel located. Also, I think you have an image in this post and it did not load - could be my system, although other images on your site did load.

    The hotel is located in Estes Park, Colorado. Thanks for letting me know about the picture!;) It shows up now.
